A joint exhibition project of the State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSPHOTO and the International Committee of the Red Cross is devoted to the problems of childhood in the countries and regions where political, ecological, and social conditions are unstable. For many children, the aid provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross is crucial for their survival.

ROSPHOTO selected over 300 photographs from the ICRC archive, presenting the Committee’s humanitarian efforts to protect and support children all over the world. The exhibition covers the period from the World War I to the present day, reflecting a wide range of war conflicts, natural disasters and their consequences in the works by photographers who have collaborated with the International Committee of the Red Cross. The exhibition brings together the best photographs taken by documentary and military photographers. Among them are such masters of photojournalism as David Seymour, Paolo Pellegrin, Witold Krassowski, Marko Kokič, Jonathan Torgovnik, Thierrry Gassman, Boris Heger and many others.
