You can buy tickets at the museum box office and on the website.

The entrance ticket gives the right to visit temporary exhibitions and the permanent exhibition.

All categories of discounted and free tickets are granted upon presentation of valid documents confirming eligibility for the benefit.

Discounted admission is available to:

  • Full-time students of higher education institutions of the Russian Federation;
  • Persons under the age of 14, regardless of citizenship;
  • Students of secondary vocational education institutions of the Russian Federation;
  • Pensioners of the Russian Federation;
  • Cadets of secondary and higher military educational institutions prior to signing a military service contract, as well as students of secondary (complete) general education institutions with additional educational programs aimed at military training of minors (including Suvorov military schools, Nakhimov naval schools, military music schools, and cadet (naval cadet) corps).



All categories of discounted and free admission are granted upon presentation of valid documents confirming eligibility for the benefit.

  • Employees of museums subordinate to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and employees of state museums of the regions of the Russian Federation;
  • Members of the Union of Museums of Russia (ICOM);
  • Members of the Interregional Public Organization Creative Union of Museum Workers of Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Region; Veterans and participants of the Great Patriotic War;
  • Persons awarded the medal “For the Defense of Leningrad” and the badge “Resident of Blockaded Leningrad”;
  • Former underage prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention created by the Nazis and their allies during World War II, including those recognized as persons with disabilities as a result of general illness, work-related injury, or other causes;
  • Citizens of the Russian Federation awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor and citizens of the Russian Federation awarded the Order of Labor Glory of all three classes;
  • Participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster;
  • Persons with disabilities of Groups I and II;
  • Orphans and preschool children;
  • One accompanying person for a visitor with a Group I or II disability;
  • One accompanying person for a group of schoolchildren;
  • Persons awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union, Hero of the Russian Federation, and full holders of the Order of Glory, in accordance with Article 7 of the Law of January 15, 1993 No. 4301-1 “On the Status of Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation, and Full Holders of the Order of Glory”;
  • All members of large families, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 63 of January 23, 2024 “On Measures of Social Support for Large Families” and Clause 4, Article 18 of the Law of Saint Petersburg No. 728-132 of November 22, 2011 “Social Code of Saint Petersburg”, upon presentation of a certificate confirming large-family status or a two-dimensional barcode (QR code) contained in the electronic large-family certificate;
  • Conscription servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation; Veterans of combat operations on the territory of the USSR; Participants of the Special Military Operation (SMO) and members of their families, upon presentation of relevant documents. Free admission once per month (on the last Wednesday of each calendar month): Persons under 18 years of age and students enrolled in basic professional educational programs;
  • Pensioners of the Russian Federation;
  • Cadets of secondary and higher military educational institutions prior to signing a military service contract, as well as students of secondary (complete) general education institutions with additional educational programs aimed at military training of minors (including Suvorov military schools, Nakhimov naval schools, military music schools, and cadet (naval cadet) corps).



Membership Programs

For holders of St. Petersburg CityPass and Zenit cards, admission to all current ROSPHOTO exhibitions is free. The cards do not apply to other ROSPHOTO events, including guided tours, lectures, workshops, and creative meetings.

Elevators

The museum building is a cultural heritage site; therefore, accessibility for visitors with limited mobility is restricted. We are ready to offer individual solutions upon request. Please inform us of your visit 2–3 days in advance.

Parking

Accessible parking is available near the All Seasons restaurant (34 Bolshaya Morskaya St.) and the Astoria Hotel (39 Bolshaya Morskaya St.).

Restrooms

There are four restrooms in the museum. A restroom accessible for wheelchair users is located on the second floor and is marked with the sign “Accessible Toilet.”

Wheelchair

A wheelchair is available for visitors at the museum cloakroom. To use it, please contact the administrators. We also kindly ask you to inform us of your visit 2–3 days in advance.

Guide Dog

Entry with a guide dog is permitted at ROSPHOTO.

Social Story

For children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, we have prepared a social story designed to help reduce anxiety when visiting a new space.



From Admiralteyskaya metro station, exit No. 1 (5–10 min.).

After exiting the metro, turn right towards the intersection of Bolshaya Morskaya Street and Kirpichny Lane. At the intersection, turn right along Bolshaya Morskaya Street and go straight ahead to the intersection with Gorokhovaya Street. Cross the intersection at the traffic lights and after the intersection, continue moving in the same direction along Bolshaya Morskaya Street to the ROSPHOTO sign at the central entrance to the museum.


From the Nevsky Prospekt metro station, exit No. 4, there are two routes (15–20 min.): bus No. 27 and trolleybus No. 22.

Exit the metro onto Nevsky Prospekt Street and turn right, go to the stop "Nevsky Prospekt Metro Station". Then take bus No. 27 to the stop "Isaakievsky Sobor" or trolleybus No. 22 to the stop "Isaakiyevskaya Ploshchad". After getting off bus No. 27, go straight to the intersection with Voznesensky Prospekt. Then turn left, cross the road and continue to Bolshaya Morskaya Street. Turn left and move along Bolshaya Morskaya Street to the "ROSPHOTO" sign at the central entrance to the museum.
