On September 18–19, the Monrepos Park Museum-Reserve will host a scholarly conference dedicated to the history and practice of photographic art in Russia and abroad, as well as collection, conservation, and exhibition of photography in museums, galleries, and other display spaces.

Staff members of ROSPHOTO will take part in the conference. Kamilla Murtuzova will present a paper on the image of Monrepos in photography based on works from the ROSPHOTO collection, and Elena Salamatova will deliver a paper on brick Gothic architecture in the cities of the Hanseatic League as captured in photographs by students of the Berlin Technical University in the 1890s.
