The State Museum and Exhibition Centre ROSPHOTO invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to participate in the conference Photography. Image. Document, which will take place at ROSPHOTO on 18–19 November 2026, and to contribute to the 15th issue of the scholarly almanac of the same title.

  • Restoration, conservation, and preservation of photographic materials
  • Current issues of copyright, intellectual property, and exclusive rights
  • Methodologies for the study of visual culture
  • Photographic documents and contemporary technologies
  • Reviews and survey articles
  • Iconography

Applications for participation (including full name, affiliation, and a provisional article title or topic) should be submitted by 15 June 2026. The deadline for submitting manuscripts for publication in the almanac is 30 June 2026.

All materials should be prepared in accordance with the submission guidelines for the almanac Photography. Image. Document and sent to fid@rosphoto.org.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to decline submissions that do not correspond to the subject matter or format of the conference and publication.

Photography. Image. Document is a peer-reviewed annual scholarly publication indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) through the Scientific Electronic Library (eLIBRARY.RU).

Following an independent peer-review process, selected papers will be published in a special issue of Photography. Image. Document within the international peer-reviewed journal Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Online ISSN: 1555-6492; Impact Factor: 0.4; Scopus Q2 in Cultural Studies).
