The State Museum and Exhibition Centre ROSPHOTO invites specialists from museums, archives, and libraries to take part in the annual international conference “Photography in the Museum,” which will be held from April 21 to 23, 2026, at ROSPHOTO (St. Petersburg, 35 Bolshaya Morskaya Street).

On September 18–19, the Monrepos Park Museum-Reserve will host a scholarly conference dedicated to the history and practice of photographic art in Russia and abroad, as well as collection, conservation, and exhibition of photography in museums, galleries, and other display spaces.

The State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSPHOTO invites authors to participate in the conference "Photography. Image. Document," which will be held at ROSPHOTO from November 19-21, 2025, and in preparation for the 14th issue of the scientific almanac under the same name.
On September 5, ROSPHOTO hosted members of the Mariupol Photo Club, founded in 2022 by Natalia Vladova, director of the branch of the Union of Art Photographers of Russia.

On August 19, ROSPHOTO was visited by a delegation of leading international photographic organizations, which included members of the International Association of Photographic Art (IAAP), the Artistic Photographic Unions of Serbia and Macedonia, the International Association "Master of Light" (representative office in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan), as well as a certified international judge and IAAP ambassador.

The restoration of a glass negative with a portrait of Thomas Hope (1769-1831), a famous British art collector, has been completed at the State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSPHOTO. The black and white glass negative is a reproduction of an engraving by George P. Harding (1780-1853) made in the first half of the 1800s from a portrait by Henry William Beechey (1753-1839). Published for the first time.
